Come Out of the Shadows
Good strong women
who bravely say what should be said
and do what should be done
must not be left to stand alone
to endure the tide of hateful bile
their truthful words unleash.
Knocked down but not defeated.
Weakened but not broken.
We must steadily rise again.
Come out of the shadows.
Emerge into the light.
And stand beside them,
Ready to fight hard and strong.
As one. Undivided.
And one day
eventually
Truth will prevail.
